This photography workshop is run on various Saturdays throughout the year.
You will spend the day with professional photographers, Daniel Linnet and Michael Good, who are willing & eager to share their vast knowledge with you. Daniel and Michael have photographed landscapes throughout the world, from the harsh Australian outback to urban cityscapes.
Whether it's to further your knowledge of the technical aspects of your equipment or the artistry of effective composition you're hoping to gain, this workshop is designed to inspire you and help you to develop the skills that will allow you to create stunning landscape images.
Moving from one location to the next, we finish with a fabulous landscape sunset. The workshop includes an inspiring & informative tutorial & brief, hands-on 'in the field' instruction & encouraging helpful critique.
You will learn how to plan trips to obtain better results whislt understanding how different light effects the landscape. We talk about the accessories & techniques for making better images along with great exposure tips & how to gain better creative control of the your camera.

This workshop is $395 for 9.5hrs Tuition
Your fee includes the following:
- 2 Professional and experienced Landscape Photographers / Tutors
- Host for the day
- Tutorial & objective brief for the days shoots
- Light refreshments throughout the day (includes water, juices & snacks)
- Sumptuous lunch
- Location fees or park entry fees where applicable
- Transport van to locations & returning to the SPW Studio
- SPW Student Discount Card offering discounts from a variety of retailers and preferred suppliers
N.B. Classes are run subject to acquiring minimum numbers

* A final weather check will be conducted with the Bureau of Meteorology 1 day prior to each workshop this many lead to the workshop being postponed in cases of unfavourable weather reports
THIS WORKSHOP STARTS AND FINISHES HERE AT OUR STUDIO AT 7 MITCHELL ROAD, ALEXANDRIA, NSW, 2015. WE TRAVEL TO VARIOUS LOCATIONS AROUND SYDNEY AND IT'S OUTSKIRTS DURING THE DAY AND TRANSPORT WILL BE PROVIDED
requirements
You will need to know your way around your camera or have completed a basic or beginners photography course.
Not recommended for compact cameras without full manual mode.
You will need:
- Your Camera(s)
- All lenses you have (especially wide angle if you have one)
- Lens Hood
- If using film: Plenty rolls use slower iso/asa colour negative film if possible (like Velvia or Provia)
- Memory Card(s) if shooting digital
- All camera accessories - i.e: tripod, lens filters, lens hood, etc. if you have them
- Fully charged camera battery and spare if you have one
- Your cameras manual(s) - for referencing those hard to find features
- Any of your prints or shots you wish to discuss (even those on disk or USB storage device)
- Dress casual & comfortable with sensible shoes (you may get a little dirty at some locations)
Note: A tripod is essential. A lens hood & wide angle lens are strongly recommended. If you do not already have these you should consider purchasing them at your earliest convenience as they are an essential part of any good photography kit. Using your SPW Student Discount Card will get you great discounts with our preferred suppliers.
