description
This photography workshop is run on various Saturdays throughout the year.
This photography workshop takes you beyond the camera and into the world of digital post processing. Whether you simply want the most from your shots, or you want to manipulate them creatively these Adobe Lightroom based workshops are for you.
Through a series of practical hands-on exercises, formal presentations and informal discussions to cover a broad range of topics throughout the day, we provide the fundamental skills to digital photographers to get the most out of their digital images. You’ll learn to take better digital images and how to prepare them for either on-line or printed presentation.
All good images start with the camera and that’s where we start. Hands-on photographic sessions, utilising a model, will show you how to minimise the time you have to spend in the Digital Lightroom and how to make sure the time you spend there is in finishing the images and not fixing them.
Once you have captured some great negatives we enter the Lightroom and turn them into magnificent images using a structured repeatable workflow. We ensure you go away with practical tools you can apply in your own Digital Lighroom at home or the office.
At the conclusion of this workshop you’ll know enough about your Camera, Camera Raw and Adobe Lightroom to take your images to the next level.
This workshop assumes you have control of your camera in manual mode but that you want to get the most out of the digital medium. As it will be a workshop setting you’ll need to bring your camera gear with you. We recommend that you bring your own laptop with Adobe Lightroom installed but we are able provide laptops should you need.
