Daniel is the principal tutor of Sydney Photographic Workshops. His initial passion for art was his oil painting and sketching, occasionally using his camera to take reference shots. His interest in photography grew as he was drawn to the immediacy of his photographic images.
Now a Master Photographer with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP), Daniel has made a definitive impact within the international photographic industry. His work has been selected and awarded widely throughout the world. You may view a list of these awards by clicking the awards tab above.
Daniel has extensive experience in fashion, lifestyle, automotive, portraiture and fine art photography and his work has been featured in numerous publications internationally. He served for 3 years as NSW Chairman of the Society of Advertising, Commercial & Media Photographers. He has also had feature articles on his work and style appear in: Australian Photo Review, Better Photography, Mac World, Australian CREATIVE, Better Photoshop Techniques and Capture Magazines.

Kim Welinski Kim Christopher Welinski, is the owner and principal photographer of Asterisk Photography. He studied at the University of Technology, Sydney where he obtained a Bachelor of Business degree with distinction. He then spent the next fourteen years working in the financial markets. Though interested in photography from a very young age, he decided to study the art form in order to realise his dream of becoming a professional photographer. He then went on to hone his skills under the guidance of several master photographers. |

Frank Farrugia Frank Farrugia is a photographer and graphic designer who whilst completing his Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication, majored in Photomedia. His passion lies within the commercial photography realm, with an emphasis on merging portraiture with fashion. Frank’s work is both expressive and reflective thereby creating exciting and stylised images suited to a wider range of genres. |

Benjamin Lee After finishing an economics degree at Macquarie University, Ben headed to Thailand, India and Nepal for his first overseas trip in the early 1990s. Partly inspired by his father, a keen painter and photographer, Ben made good use of the Canon AE1 which his father gave him to capture his journey. It was during this time his true passion for photography was born. |

Marc Gafen Marc began his career in the corporate world, and later decided to take a significant change in direction. In late 2000, he left the world of big business to become a professional photographer. Whilst learning from some of Australia’s most respected advertising photographers, he also began his writing career. He wrote features for Pro Photo briefly before becoming a regular contributor to Capture magazine. Later, Marc was appointed editor of the magazine, which is one of Australia’s fastest growing photography publications.

Glenn Lockitch
Glenn Lockitch is an award-winning independent social documentary, human rights and environmental photojournalist. He has been photographing in Australia and overseas for the last 18 years, and has been widely published and exhibited.

Sarah Ryan After graduating with a bachelor of design in visual communication with a major in photo media Sarah started her company Stealth Photographics and went on to complete a certificate IV business management as well as assessment and training. |
