Sydney Photographic Workshops

Adrian is one of our more eccentric tutors. He's passionate about photography, passionate about teaching and is probably the nerdiest nerd in nerdland.  Adrian just loves to share his vast knowledge of all things digital.

As a photographer, Adrian likes to explore the urban landscape.  He says: "All you need is a camera, a lens (yep, one will do),  a city, some comfortable shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and some time.  An entire day if you have it, or a week, or a month or a lifetime."  Adrian believes that great images are discovered sometimes, and sometimes made, but in the urban landscape you need to be in the right place, at the right time and in the right frame of mind, and that's got nothing to do with luck!

As a tutor Adrian has a unique perspective.  He came to us as a student with many years of photography behind him. Like many enthusiasts, the freedom of the digital age bought Adrian back to photography and he quickly became so adept with all things technical and artistic that he is now a valued tutor of our beginners.

One thing Adrian does like is a laugh, and apparently so to do his students. His courses are always filled with laughter and with his deep passion for teaching, there's always vocal 'a ha' noises eminating from the studio when his students reach those all so wonderful 'penny dropping' moments.
